Job description FP&A Controller Benelux

Your main responsibilities as a Financial Planning & Analysis Controller:

1. Taking ownership of all matters related to the forecasting, budgeting and reviewing of the financial and non-financial performance in the Benelux;
2. Analyse actuals to come forward with recommendations on improvements and correction during month end and after;
3. Be first contact within the Finance department in relation to FP&A activities;
4. Ensure smooth month end together with the SSC;
5. Support the Finance Director in month end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and operational reviews;

Other:

• Provide input to/execute the tactical and operational department plan in line with local and company legislation balancing cost effective activities with quality
• Provide recommendations to improve business performance and decrease liability/risks
• Participate in (international) finance projects
• Replace Finance Director during absence

Requirements

Most important skills:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English language
• Experienced user of BI reporting tools
• MS Office (mainly Excel) on ‘expert’ level, PowerPoint expert level nice to have
• Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting and Control incl. US and local GAAP requirements
• Analytical, problem-solving capabilities with creativity in finding solutions;
• Good planner & organizer
• Strong social and communicative skills with the ability to persuade at different levels within or outside the organisation

Experience:

• More than 5 years of controlling / FP&A experience within a (multinational) control environment

Other:

• Occasional travel within the Benelux / Europe
• Self-organized, understand priorities and ability to adapt changes
• Open minded, think out of box

Working conditions

Salary indication is around €55000 per year, excluding a 10% annual bonus. A company car is a possibility. This is a challenging position with interesting career opportunities in the future.
